The first few days

The first days are exciting, exhausting and occasionally chaotic. That is perfectly normal. Give your puppy time, routine, sleep and plenty of gentle reassurance.

Expect the dinosaur.

There will be chewing, zoomies, puddles and moments when you wonder what you have done. There will also be the beginning of one of the great relationships you will ever have.

Keep the world small.

Build confidence gradually. Reward the behaviour you want. Protect sleep. Let your puppy learn that the world is safe before asking it to conquer it.

Eastdew puppy families remain part of the story. If something worries you, tell us. A good breeder relationship does not end when the puppy leaves.
